For Food and Groceries:
The local grocery stores carry many Kosher specialty items, such
as chicken and hamburger patties. Also, VaBel, the local
Kosher food distributor has opened a semi-retail outlet in their
offices. The telephone number is 622-7733.
In
addition to VaBel, a new Kosher grocery has opened in Virginia
Beach - Little Israel. Located at 624 Independence Blvd,
Suite 106, Little Israel carries many items from Israel in
addition to frozen meats and refrigerated, packaged deli.

Both stores are under the Vaad Hakashrus of Tidewater.
There is
also a Kosher dairy kiosk ("The Cardo Cafe") at JCC which
is open for lunches under the supervision of the Chabad of
Tidewater.
For Accommodations:
The Radisson in Norfolk is within
walking distance (but outside the Eruv) of the shul. If
you would like to stay closer (within the Eruv), please contact
